Meet the Breeds to benefit the Four Legged Food Drive

GTISC held a food drive and Meet the Breeds event on May 1st at Bob Evans in Moon Twp. We thank Dee and Bob Evans for having us and organizing our day. Bob Evans also handed out Free Dessert Coupons. Club members and their Irish were Coleen with Wagner, Creed and Beatrice; Skip & Deb with Callie & Claire; Joan with Diddle; and George with Willie. Our members with their breeds were Judy with James, a Spinone Italiano; Ruth with Dee Dee, an English Cocker; Lisa with Gus, a Bernese Mountain Dog; John & Laureen with Lily, a pointer and also pointer puppy, Eddie.

Guests arranged by Coleen were Kathleen with two Dalmatians; Steve with two golden Retrievers; Crystal with two French Bulldogs; and Linda with two German Shepherds.

New member applicant, Debbie and her Irish Setter, Cassie, also spent the day with us.

Thank you to Bob, who took our photos. Congratulations Bill P. from Pittsburgh for winning our raffle basket of dog goodies. Thank you to Joan for donating the basket.

About 300 lbs. of food was collected and also cash donations to be used to purchase food. This event is part of our 2010 Community Service project and will benefit the Beaver County Humane Society, since the event was held in that area.
